Marcos

Hi everyone,

I'm Marcos Guo Yan and I'm from Brasília. In the other hand, my parents are from China and that's why my name seems so different. But otherwise I think that i am more brazillian than a chinese. That's not because I don't like them or something similar, but a culture reason. I was born here and I feel more like that brazillian way.
I enjoy playing the guitar and the drums. I'd say that music is my passion! It relax and turn you off of all stressing situations in the urban life. I'm really trying to get better and better in my academic life and that's why I'm finishing the Casa Thomas Jefferson's last advanced course (5B), but I hope that as sooner as I finish the course I'll start the Teacher's Development or other specific English practising.
Describing myself is something difficult, because I really don't know limit. If I say to much I'm not being humble and if I don't express myself people will think that I have a single charge and I don't do anything else.

                No more,

                              Marcos Guo Yan

Hey Marcos! I agree talking about yourself (especially on the internet!) can be embarrassing, but your introduction was great!
I think your plan to continue studying and practicing English after you finish 5b is an excellent idea!

Hi Marcos!
Congratulations on your page! You are a musician, that is terrific! The pentagram as background suits you very well. Do you study music? My grandfather was a composer, he played the piano.
Ups! My name is Maru, I live in Mexico. One of my uncles is also Chinese and my cousins sometimes behave more Mexican than the rest of us! You are right, the place where you are raised is very important.
Enjoy the course, I envy you, you got a superb teacher.
Love: Maru

Well, Marcos. I didn't know you had "Guo Yan" in your name. That is just great! Many people must ask you where you are from...
About music: I won't say it is my passion, but I enjoy too. In fact, guitars are very nice. For example: I play the piano, but it's difficult to take it to any place. The guitar is quite the opposite: that's just an easy instrument for that. Bye!
