this is a small video of fluminense football club, one of the greatest soccer team of brazil. i root for fluminense since i was born, and i love it. this is why i chose this passion to be my video with many pictures in the maracana. i chose that song because it is sang in maracana during the matches by people who root for fluminense . There was I closing business in a building of New York City in an office room on the upper floors of the famous World Trade Center when after closing business with one of the largest companies of civil engineering of the United States I was going to go down through all the floors by the elevator. I pressed the button and when the elevator arrived, there were already two people in it, a man and a girl.

                I was a little curious to know what were they doing in the building and I discovered that the man was a Brazilian man named Peter that was in his office attending a patient that coincidently was the girl by his side, Claire. When suddenly, the elevator stops and we realized that there was a blackout in the whole city.  

                We thought in a way to get out of that situation when I suggested pressing the emergency button to talk to someone of the security of the building, but it didn`t work. The security told us to wais and that there was no chance for them to help. We spent a long time in the elevator, and that is why we started to be hungry. But there was nothing that we could to, but wait. And that is what we did, and to spend some time, we talked during a long time and we realized, the energy was back in the city.             

                When the elevator arrived at the ground floor, we went each one for a different direction, and unfortunately, we have never seen each other since then.

Since when I was a young boy, I already swam in pools. I started to swim when I was four years in a gym named Nad'art, which is in Lago Norte.

When I turned nine years old, I began to participate in many competitions representing the gym. But the most important of them happened when I was 12 years old, it was a state competition, where several competitors of the Distrito Federal participated. The competitoin was much disputed from beginning to end. The judge gave the start and I went out a little late because I was very nervous, but in the course of the competition I could recover the difference and I came in first.

When I arrived I could not control the joy, so I started to smile and celebrate a lot, it was something unforgettable. When I left the pool, I ran to talk to my mother, who was rooting for me on the sidelines, to show the medal for her. The other day I went to the gym Nad'art with the medal on the chest. My teacher praised me a lot and I was very happy by this fact. Unfortunately, I could not continue to swim because I got a problem in my shoulder that made it impossible to continue.

Until today I keep the medal I won in a super important and visible place so that I can see it and remember this fantastic day. I will never forget this day.

         The XX century was marked by many great inventions that are currently very useful in the XXI century. The computer is the greatest invention of the XX century. The first machines were used only to calculate, but nowadays it is used for work, entertainment and also to calculate too.

         The computer is used for storing files, which has been very good for the society because it is required just one computer to organize many folders. In the modern days, it is required in almost all jobs that the worker know how to use the computer. Most of the websites are in English, which is the global language, so people can even learn a bit of English.

         The computer is also the best way to communicate with people from everywhere in the world because the messages come and go in less then a second. The machine it is not very hard to use, you just need some practice and talk to anyone. People of all ages, from young people to old people, can use the computer, it has many things that you can do in it with many programs. You can also watch TV and many movies on computer screen.

         These are some reasons that made the computer the greatest invention of the XX century.

Hi, my name is Lucas and I am from Brazil and I love living here. I am 15 years old and I live in Brasilia, the capital of brazil, this is my hometown. My hobbies are playing soccer, hanging out with friends, playing poker sometimes and playing the guittar. when i graduate, i dont know what am i going to do at university, either what am i going to work with.  

i dont like studying but, its an obligation. in my free time i like to go to parties, listen to music, surf on the  internet, watching TV and etc.

in my opinion, studying english its very important for many things like making new friends from different places all over the world, for work and etc.
